We are delighted to announce that Priyanka, our principal optometrist, has just gained her Professional Certificate in Medical Retina from City, University of London.
As our population ages, the frequency of medical retina disorders has grown. Here at Optimum Vision Clinic we’re increasingly seeing more age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other vascular disorders in our practice. At the same time the development of new treatments has meant that more patients can have the opportunity to receive ophthalmic interventions.
This qualification allows Priyanka to provide additional support with appropriate diagnostic, referral and care management decisions for those of her patients with medical retina disorders.
